What Swaffield does

Year-round service
Nine jobs, each one in a customer's own words.
Open 24 hours, seven days a week, across South Simcoe, Dufferin County and the roads in between.
- 01
Septic tank pumping
The core of the business. Tanks pumped out, the lids closed up and the yard left the way it was found.
“Swaffield came immediately the next day early in the morning did their thing and were out in 30 minutes.”Nicholas Eusebio
- 02
Holding tanks cleaned and pumped
Holding tanks need emptying on a schedule, not just when something goes wrong. Swaffield has pumped them since the Tom Swaffield days.

- 03
Backups and emergencies
Open 24 hours, seven days a week. When a tank backs up on a Sunday night, call and the phone gets answered.
“The first time they showed up within a half an hour because it unexpectedly backed up on me on a Sunday.”Colin Mason
- 04
Septic inspections, including when you buy
A look at the tank and baffles, an explanation of how your system works, and a straight answer about what could be improved later.
“Troy assisted us in a pre-purchase home septic inspection. He scheduled us in on short notice (which was greatly appreciated)”Chantal Varcoe, Broker
- 05
Riser installation
Risers bring your tank lids up to the surface, so nobody has to dig up the lawn every time the tank is pumped.
“He installed the risers and sent a picture of them when he was done.”Adrian
- 06
Lids and caps replaced
New tank caps fitted when the old ones have had it, on the same visit as the pump-out.
“The tank was drained efficiently and the new caps were installed without issue.”sharon Modrall
- 07
Small fixes on the spot
Plenty of "failing" systems turn out to be a blocked baffle or a broken pipe. If it can be sorted there and then, it is.
“I thought our septic system was failing but it was a blockage right at the baffle that Troy was able to dislodge.”Richard de Faria
- 08
Repairs with licensed partners
When a system needs more than a pump-out, Swaffield works alongside licensed contractors, electricians and plumbers to find the right long-term fix.
“He organized for an electrician and plumber to do some additional work and then installed risers.”Jamie Macdonald
- 09
Regular maintenance schedules
Get on a recall system and the tank gets pumped before it becomes a problem. One customer has Troy back every six months.
“Troy explained what needs to be done in order to have a properly running septic so I decided to have him come on a 6 month schedule.”Mauro Ulisse
